Disappointing - twice, and there won’t be a third time
I visited this restaurant twice, hoping the first impression was just a fluke – unfortunately, I was disappointed both times.
During my first visit, the service was lackluster. The waiter seemed disinterested and borderline condescending. On top of that, our food was served with a 5-minute gap between dishes, making it impossible to enjoy a warm meal together. For the prices they charge, I expected much better.
We were a group of three and ordered the following:
• Doner plate (9 €): Taste was fine, but the portion size was laughable. To make things worse, there was a dried grease stain on the plate – not very appetizing.
• Mixed grill plate (15 €): Definitely not worth the price. It included a Adana kebab, one tiny chicken drumstick, half a chicken wing, and two small pieces of meat – disappointing.
• Lamb chops: The only somewhat acceptable dish, and the reason we decided to give this place a second chance.
On our second visit, the service had improved. The same waiter was much friendlier, and this time, we received our food simultaneously. Unfortunately, the quality of the meat was terrible. We ordered lamb chops but received one chop per person alongside bony scraps (first time i got three chops und some scraps) – absolutely not what you’d expect for the price.
An amazing Turkish restaurant. I ordered a kebab, wings, and chicken soup, and all were excellent. The staff was very polite and assisted with the ordering. The bill came to 21 euros. I highly recommend it.
