Restaurant Metropol traditional albanian and italian food

We had dinner at this restaurant on our first night in Tirana, and it was an absolute pleasure. The food—traditional Albanian with an Italian twist—was made with so much care and passion. The appetizers were authentic and flavorful, the grilled meat and chicken were perfectly done, and even the salad was spot on. Fun fact: the chef/owner of the restaurant left Italy to return home to Tirana—honestly, Italy’s loss is definitely Tirana’s gain! Would absolutely love to come back again

Insanely good food, I am a picky eater but loved trying the food. We got two starters between 3 people and it was perfect for a light dinner. We were served with homemade red wine and we finished the bottle it was so good. The server was lovely and spoke to us about Albania and its traditions. Cannot recommend enough we went for a quick dinner and stayed for around 2hrs

Incredible experience! 💫🏆 Very kind owner and pleasant, who cooks really delicious food and make amazing atmosphere! The amount of food is really enough. My 2 friends and I took menu for 45€ with traditional Albanian food and we were full ( even me, I’m a sportsman, so I got used to eat more, than other… but I was more than just satisfied. Wine is good too 💯 I advise everyone to visit this amazing place, eat tasty food and feel the atmosphere! 🫶☝️
