This is one of the rare places in Tirana where we found the authentic taste of Turkish tea. The restaurant is located right inside Toptani, which is already a central spot that everyone visiting the city should see. It has a perfect location for a restaurant. The interior is stylish with a lovely ambiance, and the staff are incredibly sweet and welcoming. The breakfast was more than enough for two people and tasted great. If you’re looking for flavors closest to Turkish cuisine in Tirana, this is the place to go for breakfast. We paid 2100 Leke for two people, including extra tea and bread, which we found very reasonable considering the quality and quantity. I definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting Tirana and craving a proper Turkish breakfast.
Since we were so satisfied with the breakfast, we came back in the evening for dinner. We missed the taste of home, so we ordered lahmacun—which turned out to be perfectly portioned, with one piece enough for one person—and it was delicious. For dessert, we had trileçe and baklava filled with cream, accompanied by traditional Turkish tea. We genuinely enjoyed both desserts. And once again, the staff were extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better.
We were here in the beginning of the evening, and it was already a bit full. The allocation of the tables was a bit chaotic, but that's normal. The staff was friendly and kind, getting our order very quickly. The food was served fast. We had pizza and a dish of lamb with yogurt. To be fair, I was expecting a bit more of both. It was not bad, but it was also not that good. However, the fresh orange juice was amazing, highly recommended. Overall, I don't think I would come back, but I think it's more based on the specific food choice and my taste. I think the other options could be better. But, overall, I don't regret coming here either. :)
As Turkish people living abroad, we enjoyed the food, especially manti and icli kofte. The atmosphere was great too but unfortunately they accepted only cash, which created a problem for us because we didn’t want to have so much cash for 3 days in Tirana and we had to spend all our cash there. They could have informed us before. Next day we wanted to try their Turkish breakfast, but they told us the POS machine still didn’t work so we only had some drinks. I’m not sure if it was a temporary issue or they always only accept cash.
It’s better to ask before if you don’t prefer to pay cash like us.
