Completely my mistake because I thought it was going to be a traditional Albania restaurant, but it’s an Italian restaurant. We went on Sunday evening and it was empty, we were the only customers. I had the pesto tagliatelle with prawns. 3 prawns came on the pasta and they were chewy. The lamb shank was tender, but not the best. Service was fast.
Simple English communication, friendly smile and service from the waiter, delicious salads, red wine, and meals, mushrooms are quite juicy, definitely will visit again while I’m staying at this town. ( I just visited again next day)
We just ate an amazing dinner! We started with the chef’s choice appetizer (homemade sausage, cream cheese, toasted bread) - it was very tasty! My husband had mussels and octopus, for which he was skeptical about ordering, and he said it was by far his favorite meal so far on our trip! I had the porcini risotto and that was very good. We shared a bottle of Albanian wine…again, delicious! The chef came out to speak with us as the waiter’s English was limited (and to be fair, we speak no Albanian). The food was spectacular and the service outstanding! We may go back again before we leave!
