Tradita e Beratit - Hotel & Restaurant

Decided to dine at this restaurant for our first night in Berat due to the great reviews. However, we were very disappointed with the experience. Although the scenery, views and general area of the restaurant were lovely and had a great ambience, the food and drinks themselves were poor. We have had a lot of traditional Albanian food around the country and have had much better elsewhere for a fraction of the price. It’s also worth noting that this is a set menu so if you’re looking for more choice this isn’t the place for you. Staff were friendly enough but service overall wasn’t the best. The house red in particular was undrinkable - it’s rare I don’t finish a glass but it was very sour and overpowered all the food and even more unpleasant on its own. The white also was not chilled. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this place, even for a sample of traditional Albanian food, you can find better and cheaper elsewhere!

We stumbled across the bar for a drink with a view but also had dinner booked in the restaurant and didn’t realise they were connected. It is such a lovely location in Berat, so nice to have traditional Albanian food. All top quality. Chris and Mela were very welcoming and attentive hosts. We definitely recommend! 5 stars!!

Tradita e Beratit is a true gem in the heart of Berat for anyone looking to enjoy authentic traditional Albanian cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious – traditional dishes prepared with great care and flavor. Every plate we tried was rich in taste and brought back the essence of classic Albanian home cooking at its finest. The service was equally impressive. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive throughout our visit. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, making it a perfect spot for an evening out with friends, just like in our case. If you’re in Berat and want a genuine traditional dining experience, I highly recommend Tradita e Beratit. Joni and keli was amazing we loved this guys❤️❤️❤️
