The bar boasts a pleasant ambiance and a beautiful view, which I appreciate. However, our experience left much to be desired.
Upon arrival, we inquired about a menu but were informed that none was available. This made it challenging to choose cocktails. We requested three sour-sweet cocktails and one non-alcoholic option. Typically, sour-sweet cocktails like Tom Collins, Daiquiri, or Whiskey Sour are well-balanced. Unfortunately, the drinks we received were overly sweet, dominated by mixed juices and Monin syrup, masking the taste of alcohol entirely.
Despite the bar being empty, it took approximately 20 minutes to prepare our drinks, seemingly by the restaurant manager rather than a professional bartender. The cocktails did not resemble those featured in other patrons’ reviews.
Regarding payment, we initially confirmed with a waiter that card payment was accepted. However, another staff member later stated otherwise. Eventually, a terminal was provided. We agreed to pay for two alcoholic cocktails and one non-alcoholic drink, totaling €24. Surprisingly, the non-alcoholic cocktail was priced at €8, equivalent to the alcoholic ones. No itemized receipt was provided.
While the bar has potential, it seems unprepared at this stage. I might consider returning later in the season when a proper menu is available and trained bartenders are on staff. Currently, there are better options along the Vlora coastline
