After spending the day exploring the castle and wandering through the old town, we stopped at Te Kalaja for some food.. It was absolutely delicious.. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The view looking at the castle and surrounding mountains was the cherry on top — such a lovely setting to relax and enjoy a meal. If you’re in the area, Te Kalaja is definitely worth a visit!
