Amazing traditional homemade food with astonishing view and very good atmosphere! Best recommendations when visiting Gjirokaster!!! Btw try their home made rake as well!

The price is very fair and the food was so good we came back two days in a row! It tastes like homestyle food and our order of grilled vegetable is some of my favorite Ive had in Albania, nice rich balsamic flavor. I recommend the meatballs as well but I really don't think you can go wrong off the menu. The people making the food have very big hearts, too.

So glad we kept walking past the other tavernas that beckoned to us. The food has all been exceptional, especially the stuffed eggplant. I will dream about it. We ordered one to share originally, but had to order a second. I may still order a third. The food, cooked by the mother of the kind young man who served us, has been the best I’ve had. Especially the eggplant. Get the eggplant. We are here early (early April) and it’s too cold for the patio to be open, but we didn’t come for the view, although it is remarkable!
