If you're craving fresh, home-style cooking of Albanian cuisine, in Tirana, look no further than Shije Fahati. I was impressed by the quality and flavour of everything I tried: the corn bread in yoghurt, the soup of the day, the meatballs, the lamb ribs, and the beef casserole, all served with fresh bread. Each dish tasted like it was made with care and the ingredients were clearly very fresh.

The resturant is very clean and decoration is traditional.
Food is perfect. The lamb chops, the cornbread with yogurt and tave dheu and the village salad.
The staff very kind and service is excellent

Just about okay for local cuisine. Nothing special and expensive for the quality and quantity. Tirana beer was listed as 300 Lek for 0.5l, but it turned out to be a smaller 330ml bottle (for the same price!)
