Restaurant Tradita

Being albanian means I have high standards when it comes to food, especially the way meat is cooked. I must say that food lacks a lot in taste, meat feels old and very fatty. The day we arrived, even though we reserved almost a month ago, there were no prior preparations. Rooms were not cleaned, we had to wait until 3 pm, meanwhile we arrived at 12:30. At the same time, we ordered food and waited more than 2 hours for the food to be served. Their explanation: 1. We are lacking staff 2. Maybe we sent your order to another table. There were 3 guys working that day. The short one and the other one, a little bit more darker had no interest at all in serving the food and felt no shame when I explained to them that I’m waiting for it since 2h and a half already. I respect the light brown hair guy, light complexity because he was very quick to assist me whenever I needed help. As per the atmosphere, the rooms were warm and big. I liked the view, the hotel and the wood houses. What to have in mind: 1. Service the worst 2. Food was not something to enjoy, only to fill your belly. 3. I liked the yogurt, it was homemade. 4. Nature is wonderful. The atmosphere is nice, and the quality of the rooms was perfect. PS: you can have more dishes on the menu, a bigger variety, traditional food of the region.

Hotel and Restaurant Tradita is one of the longest standing establishments in the region. Over time, they have continuously expanded their accommodations. We stayed in the recently built, cozy villas which were immaculate and had ample space for three adults. The highlight of this hotel is the captivating shared outdoor space in front of each room, offering a stunning view of the vast green fields and the majestic mountain. The restaurant exclusively caters to hotel guests and boasts incredibly delicious food, served by an attentive and friendly staff. Undoubtedly, it is among the top dining options in the area. Family and groups are strongly advised to consider this option.

We were staying at Drinos Guesthouse and we saw all the bad reviews so we were doubting to eat here. We ordered the veal and lamb with some fries and it was so good!! The meat was quite soft and the portions were enormous. Beer was also quite cheap at 150 lek. Waiters were both super nice! UPDATE: Unfortunately we both got food poisoning from eating here. Its really sad as it seems like a nice establishment. Really sorry to the waiters as they are really kind
