Nouvelle Vague Tirana

Nouvelle Vague is one of those rare places that instantly makes you feel welcome. Vibrant, colorful, and full of energy, it’s a bar that somehow manages to be both lively and laid-back at the same time. Whether it’s a busy Friday night or a quiet weekday evening, there’s always a spot waiting for you — perfect for sipping a drink and soaking in the atmosphere. The selection of drinks is impressive, with a wide range of cocktails, wines, and beers. The music is always on point — never too loud, always adding the right vibe to your evening. The decor is playful and creative, full of personality and color, making it a great place to relax or start your night out in Tirana. What truly makes Nouvelle Vague special, though, is the staff. Every time we walked in, the bartenders and our favorite waiter greeted us with big, genuine smiles — often remembering exactly what we liked to drink. It’s that kind of personal touch that turns a bar into your bar. If you’re looking for a place with soul, charm, and a warm sense of belonging, Nouvelle Vague is it.

A fantastic find off the main route, Redi was a very attentive and knowledgeable bar tender, suggested the best and told us the stories behind them. The popcorn was a welcome addition which made us stay for 4 cocktails each! A great evening and a fun quirky bar, worth visit just for the decor and stay for the drinks!

My absolute FAVORITE bar in Albania! If you're looking for legitimate cocktails, fantastic bartenders, and a quirky feel- this is your place! Locals and foreigners from all over are welcomed just the same. Feel free to explore the menu full of their original and unique Albanian-infused cocktails. Most of their drinks have some sort of Albanian twist- That may mean you're drinking a take on a traditional mountain tea from Albania's past, or it could mean a drink being infused with the local Raki drink and some sort of spice or flower flavor from a mountain range nearby. ALL of their menu drinks have some sort of regional taste or homemade aspect to it. There's even a separate menu that explains what the drinks harken back to in the Albanian culture. Such a cool and fun bar to explore some amazing local drinks and meet some great people! (Don't think it's ONLY strange and local takes on cocktails- these are legit bartenders and they can make you the classics as well and throw their own fun twist on it if you let them! I spent one night just having different versions of an Old Fashioned and was amazed by the twists put on the drinks. I've also spent a whole night just enjoying their menu drinks. Can't go wrong here!) Get ready for great times and amazing cocktails, plus some flavors of Albania served by some of Albania's finest gentleman!
