Mrizi i Zanave Agroturizem

This place deserves more than 5 stars! It is the most beautiful quaint farm-to-table experience you can have that showcases traditional Albanian food. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by flowers and farm animals and the service was great. I would gladly eat here every day! They have a set menu comprised of pickled vegetables, cheese platters and bread for entree. The main followed is your choice of meat and baked potatoes. And complimentary dessert of fruits from the farm is an added bonus. We dined inside in the upstairs section and loved it!

A wonderful experience with friends and family. A lovely farm to table experience. All the produce is either from the farm or sourced locally. The menus changes seasonally, capturing the best of the produce, which is a common practice in Albania and the neighbouring Balkan countries. The place is not luxury or fine dining and I can safely say they don’t intend to be that. Instead it’s a place where you will enjoy amazing gastronomy, nature and appreciate the hard work that goes behind it on daily basis. FYI the set menu is €18 pp, an absolute bargain. Mrizi i Zanave is a MUST on any trip to Albania. The setting and views from both the rooms and restaurant were beautiful and lent to a tranquil stay. The rooms were beautifully restored, maintaining character but providing modern amenities. We ate lunch and dinner on top of breakfast and the food was excellent. The massive spread of local starters was enough to fill you up and provide a great sample of various local dishes and produce. We also did a degustation in the wine cellar and we highly recommend to anyone staying. It was interesting to learn about the wines and it was coupled with some local products from the farm. They also have a little barn down by the carpark where you can grab a drink and enjoy the atmosphere and there is a farm shop to buy products to bring back home. 10/10 experience and we highly reccomend.
