I recently dined at La Gioia and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the overall ambiance. The dishes were exceptionally fresh and full of flavor. We started with a warm soup that was perfectly seasoned and comforting. The freshness of the ingredients truly stood out.
For the main course, we enjoyed a seafood pasta that was cooked to perfection. The seafood was incredibly fresh, and the pasta had a wonderful texture, complemented by a light yet flavorful sauce. Each bite reflected the care and quality put into the preparation. The freshly baked bread served with a creamy dip was a delightful addition to the meal.
The atmosphere at La Gioia is cozy and inviting, with a charming setup that enhances the dining experience. The staff were attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout the evening.
Overall, La Gioia offers a fantastic combination of fresh, delicious food and excellent service. Whether you're a fan of seafood, pasta, or just appreciate a well-prepared meal, this place is definitely worth a visit. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality dining experience in a pleasant setting. I will certainly be returning!
I really liked everything! The food tastes amazing, the waiter was super nice and the atmosphere was terrific. We were there one day before valentines and they had read hearts everywhere - very cute. I recommend sitting in the closed patio area - its very bright and perfect temperature. The place gets super busy during lunchtime, so i would recommend reservations for bigger groups.
Went to La Gioia for lunch. Waitstaff spoke English and menus in English were available. Seating was available outside and indoor. Ordered the Gratinated Scallops, Bruschetta with tomatoes, goat cheese, and olive oil, Goat cheese with sesame and fig jam, Chicken with mushrooms and goat cheese, and the Tagliatelle with truffle and shrimp. Scallops were good but the bread crumbs lacked flavor and binding. The sesame goat cheese was good. More fig jam would have been better. The bruschetta was not good. The bread was just plain bread lighly toasted with no flavor. The chicken and tagliatelle were good. Nice place to sit outside and have a drink and food. The Albanian Kallmet wine was very good.
