Upon entering Kungfu Express, I was immediately greeted by a cloud of burnt odor, and the air was thick with smoke. Despite the off-putting smell, I decided to give this place a chance. The staff were friendly and proficient in English, which was a plus. However, the experience went downhill when my order, the "Tokyo Wok," arrived.
The dish was visibly oily, and the strong burnt smell suggested something was amiss. Regrettably, my first few bites confirmed my suspicions - the food was completely burnt. It was so inedible that I couldn't manage more than two or three bites out of fear for my health.
This experience leads me to believe there are significant issues in the kitchen that need to be addressed. I cannot recommend Kungfu Express based on this visit, as the quality of the food was severely lacking and the overall experience was disappointing.
Its good to have asian food in Tirana. The server can speak English well and very friendly. I tried the combo dried rice with spicy chicken and beef broccoli and it tastes good. The atmosphere was nice, has indoor and outdoor seating area.
What to say about this place? It was quite empty at first glance. The staff at the reception didn't seem very enthusiastic with their work. The service was poor. We didn't even received napkins (or maybe we were supposed to take them, I have no idea). We ordered Ramen, came in really quick. The broth was tasty and overall I liked it.
