The concept of Café – Museum “Komiteti” was inspired by the passion and love for the protection and promotion of the precious and rich Albanian heritage embodied in artifacts. A vast collection of over three thousand authentic objects and artifacts from different regions and periods of the Albanian history, was created throughout many years collecting objects and artifacts in every city, village and markets where there were traces of our material heritage, through many sacrifices and difficulties, in a situation of complete lack of attention to the preservation of material heritage. The strong will not to sell these items , because of the potential deterioration or loss in national and international markets, and at the same time the passion to promote them, give life to the idea of establishing this Café where locals and foreigners, may enjoy a traditional “raki”, while travelling on time through historical ages.
