Klea Restaurant

Klea is such a special spot — a cozy family-run place right in the middle of Berat Castle. The second you walk in, you’re welcomed like one of their own. It doesn’t feel like a restaurant, more like having dinner at a friend’s house. The food is all homemade and full of flavor, super comforting and authentic. You can really tell it’s made with love. The setting is beautiful too — eating in a castle with views all around? Yes please. What makes it even better is the family. They’re so warm, friendly, and genuinely happy to have you there. You leave with a full stomach and a full heart. Definitely a must-visit in Berat.

Foods are too good! I would like to recommend this restaurant for those who stay at the Hotel Klea or anyone who visit Berat. The location is right the corner of Berat castel. Food is delicious. Bread is soft and good with olive oil. Steak comes with homemade dip is wonderful (cheese is melting inside!) first time tried stuff eggplant and I came back to have more! Soup is tasteful. Their ice cream is BEST! All the price is listed in the menu and is very reasonable. Also, the staffs are friendly

With so many restaurants to choose from in the area, I’m so glad I picked this one. The warm, welcoming service and incredible food made it one of the best meals I’ve had in Albania. As a vegetarian, they thoughtfully put together a combination plate so I could try a bit of everything—and every bite was delicious! The charm of the traditional house and the stunning view of the old town made the experience even more special.
