El Gaucho Tirana

I've walked past this restaurant many times and decided to call in for a late lunch on my way from work. I knew I wanted salad and steak so didn't really look at the menu. I have to say the Aberdeen Angus fillet steak was probably the best I've ever had, and the simple salad was dressed perfectly. All washed down with a delicious Argentinian Malbec. They have an interesting array of salts and sauces on the table.

El Gaucho Tirana was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was refined yet relaxed, the service was top-tier, and the food completely exceeded expectations. Our waiter recommended the Black Angus tartare — something I would’ve never thought to order — and it turned out to be one of the best dishes of the night. It was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Every plate that followed held the same standard, from the steaks to the starters to the desserts. Even the small touches — like the trio of flavored butters — made the meal feel special. The staff were knowledgeable, kind, and made sure we felt taken care of throughout. You can tell this place takes pride in what they do. If you’re in Tirana and want a steakhouse experience that goes beyond the food, El Gaucho is the place. Highly recommended.
