For a blend of Asian and Mediterranean flavors in the heart of Tirana, consider trying "Di Gaia Restaurant." We offer a diverse menu that combines the best of both culinary worlds.
Asian food in Tirana is not great in general. And here it was not better. Some food that should be warm was cold. They simply don’t know. They serve edamame with sweet and sour sauce, and call the Sake “Chinese Rraki/Grappa” :) Chinese!?
The worst thing was that things that need to be prepared just before serving was done long time ago. Like the tempura that went into the sushi roll.
They have a “smoked oil” on the carpaccio that makes the whole thing taste salami :(
A plus for quick service and a clean environment.
Exquisite gastronomic experience and super friendly staff. The food was flavoursome and the service made the experience 5/5. This was the highlight of our trip and we would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to dine out in Albania. Congrats!
The atmosphere was nice. I was on the second floor, which, luckily, was almost empty. Regarding the food, the nigiri portion was generous for the price. The tuna was fresh, but I think there is room for improvement in the presentation and the fish cuts. The sea bream was lovely, with brown basmati rice and a veggie pure below. I definitely liked the presentation for this one more, and my only point would be that the fish, whose meat is already salty, was slightly salty. Overall, it is nice having a different option for fine dining. If you add some crispy tuna tacos or play more with the nigiri flavours 🌮 that will be a blast!
